Trip to Island Park

In August, we spent a week at a cabin in Island Park with my family. It was the first time since I was about 9 that all of my siblings have been on a trip together. We had a lot of fun! The kids had a blast together. James and Karrie arranged for us to stay at Karrie's Grandfather's Cabin. It was right on Henry's Lake.

One of the days we were there, we went to Yellowstone Park. We saw a bunch of Guysers, including Old Faithful and went to a place called Firehole Falls and played in the water. I had never been to the Firehole before, but I will definitely do that again. This is Breanna in the stroller at Old Faithful.

We also did some fishing. I say fishing instead of fishin' because we didn't catch anything. But we had fun anyway. This is Emily with the fishing pole.

There was a small boat there that we could paddle around the lake. Logan had fun rowing the boat.

This is Dustin playing in the lake. The kids loved playing in the water even when it was a bit chilly. There was a little strip of beach so the kids could play in the sand.
